Review : iCatchi Plug for your Smartphone Protection against Liquids

By Keron Calame on Wednesday, Mar 2, 2011

Ever since the Smartphone Era, users all over the world have been facing similar problems and one of the most talked about problem is being Liquid Damage but what most users don’t know is that the headphone jack is sometimes to be blamed for the problem. iCatchi thought of the problem and developed the iCatchi Plug that is compatible with most Smartphones and even some Tablet PCs as well. If you are an owner of the Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4G or even the iPad Tablet then you should know if liquid gets into the headphone jack then it triggers a sensor in the device that turns red and in most cases when your device comes in contact with liquid, your warranty will be void.

So why not protect your investment, if you should go hunting for a Smartphone right now be prepared to spend atleast $200 and depending on the type of handset, if it is a more powerful Smartphone like those with dual-core processors, then expect to cough up atleast $450-500 and the iCatchi Plug cost a mere $7.95 per unit, so spend a mere seven dollars to protect your device or spend five hundred for a new one, you choose.

The iCatchi Plugs also comes with different themes ranging from Animals, Sign, Symbols, Flags, Emoticons and much more. They also do custom jobs so it you have a business you want to promote, you can also get your company’s logo on iCatchi Plugs.

My Conclusion:
All that I wrote above may seem like a sales pitch to you but actually LoopyCellphones is in no way affiliated to iCatchi but this is a subject that I can relate to as I have lost Handsets to liquid damage which void my warranty and I ended up spending more than I expected because my carrier would not replace my device. I already have my iCatchi as you can see above the photos with my Blackberry Torch 9800 all protected by the iCatchi Plug, it seems to work just perfect.
